Edina is exhibiting at The World Biogas Expo 2024 at stand B45 and is a finalist in the 'Best Biogas Plant Above 1MWe Equivalent' category award for its hybrid/microgrid solution co-locating hydrogen-enabled CHP, battery energy storage, and standby power generation.
The two-day exhibition and conference takes place on the 10th and 11th of July at the NEC, Birmingham, UK, and is hosted by the Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association (ADBA) and the World Biogas Association (WBA).

Combined Heat and Power (CHP) is a well-established technology that simultaneously generates electricity and heat from a fuel input close to the point of use. Industrial and commercial users of CHP have typically reported 30% savings on their primary energy costs compared to the separate purchase of electricity from the electricity grid and gas for use in on-site boilers.
